KeyChat accepts rights-infringement notices for user-published character cards and images and may suspend the content. This is an operating draft informed by the Korean Copyright Act's online-service-provider process; it is not legal advice.
1. What a notice should include
- The character page URL or character ID you say is infringing
- The original work's title, description and link, or evidence of your rights
- Your name, contact email, and authority if you are an agent
- The reasons for the claim and a good-faith statement
2. Process
- Submit to [email protected] with [COPYRIGHT] in the subject
- We review and, where needed, suspend the content and notify the author
- The author may send a counter-notice and rights evidence for review and possible restoration
- Abusive notices or repeated infringement may lead to account restrictions
For urgent child sexual exploitation content, use the child-safety reporting process instead of the copyright process.
3. Counter-notice and restoration
- The suspended character URL and your account
- Evidence that you own the rights or have permission
- Your contact details and a statement requesting restoration
4. Repeat infringers
Accounts with repeated confirmed infringement may face publishing limits, removal or suspension. KeyChat may retain relevant notice and action records for the period needed to handle disputes.
